Crinkle dichroic is a Coatings by Sandberg exclusive product. Prior to the application of heat, the dichroic coating is smooth like standard dichroic. With the application of heat, the surface crystalizes giving each piece a unique appearance. This coating likes it hot and CBS recommends a firing temperature of approximately 1475F. This dichroic can be fired uncapped or capped but will achieve the most surface change when fired uncapped. If fired without a clear cap the final surface texture will be rough.
