Wasser Glass

Wasser glass is thin, lightweight and easy to cut. It comes in 12" x 12" sheets and has a measured "90" Coefficient of Expansion (COE). The glass thickness averages about 1.6mm but will range from 1.5mm to 1.8mm. For fusing, the softening point is about 1240F with a full fuse at about 1340F. Glass shrinkage starts at about 1360F and formation of balls will occur at about 1450F. Glass loss will occur at about 1550F. The manufacturer recommends an annealing temperature of 940F.
