Fire Mountain Gems Ordering

 Blue Hills Glass and Beads is a Platinum Premier Partner with Fire Mountain Gems.  This allows us to purchase from them at the highest discount.  We are happy to serve as a reseller and purchase on your behalf.  It's as simple as sending us an excel spreadsheet with the items desired.  We'll place the order and invoice you showing the price and shipping.  You can pay us via PayPal or with a credit card.  

Shipping & Delivery

BlueHills Glass and Beads normally ships orders via U.S. Postal Service (USPS) or United Parcel Service (UPS).  A few items, such as large kilns,  are delivered by truck.  Items requiring truck delivery will be specified in the product's description.  We receive very competitive freight rates - if you would like to purchase an item that is delivered by truck please contact us for delivery options and charges.

Shipping charges will vary by destination, weight and freight carrier. Size and weight restrictions also vary by carrier and country.  During the online order checkout, you will be provided with shipping options and shipping charges.  Please note that the method selected for shipment will impact the anticipated arrival date for your package as well as your ability to track the status of your shipment.  Domestic packages shipped via USPS will be shipped with delivery confirmation.  This is not meant to imply that tracking information will be available for USPS packages.  Delivery confirmation will provide information on the date a package was delivered, status updates while the package is in transit may or may not be available.  If you desire more current tracking information for your package please select UPS as the carrier.

Internaltional packages shipped via first class international or priority mail international will not have tracking information or delivery confirmation details.  As such, BlueHills Glass and Beads cannot and shall not be responsible for non-delivery of items shipped using these  services.  Please select Express Mail International if you desire the ability to track the status of an international package.  Shipping charges for international orders do not include duties, fees or taxes that may be charge by your government.  International packages may be inspected at the point of entry into the destination country and this process may impact the timeliness in which you receive your order.

Our website features real time inventory and will note backordered items in the shopping cart.   Some items may take up to six weeks to receive and if you pay via Paypal payment will be collected at the point of check out. 

Privacy & Security

Shop with confidence because BlueHills Glass and Beads is serious about privacy. We will safeguard any data collected against mishandling and fraud, collect only personal information needed to conduct business and respect your preferences regarding use of your information.

For online purchases, BlueHills Glass and Beads has elected to use payment gateway services provided by Authorize.net. In this role, Authorize.net replaces the traditional swipe terminal you would find in our retail store. Any payment information (credit card number, expiration date, etc.) entered while shopping on this site is captured by Authorize.net and securely transmitted to the appropriate financial information. We do not capture or retain this information. Data transmitted between the website and Authorize.net is secured using SSL (secure sockets layer) technology that encrypts transmissions with up to 256 bit encryption. The SSL certificate authenticates the identity of a website and acts as a “passport” to verify domain control and establish the secure transmission.

In our retail store we use strong security measures to prevent the loss, misuse and alteration of your information once it is in our records. Each employee is assigned a user name and password that controls access to information stored on our point of sale system. The level of access to information is limited to what the employee needs to complete his or her job.

Returns & Replacements

We are happy to accept returns with some exceptions. Items may be returned for refund, exchange or credit within fifteen days of receipt. Sorry, no return of books, patterns, magazines, videos or special order products. Items must be returned in their original container/bag and in a completely unaltered state. BlueHills Glass and Beads is not responsible for postage on returned items or the original shipping charges.

If you make a purchase in our retail store, returns will be accepted with the original receipt within 15 days of purchase. If an original receipt cannot be located or if the return is after 15 days, the item(s) may still be returned and store credit will be issued based on the current sales price.

Collection of Personal Information

When you use this site personal information such as your name, address, e-mail address and telephone number(s) may be collected. We use this information to process orders and provide you with information such as order confirmation and tracking numbers. If you elect to receive our newsletter or special promotions, your contact information will be used for the delivery of these items. BlueHills Glass and Beads is the sole owner of information collected on this site and we will not sell, share or rent this information to any outside parties. However, we reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site.

Our web site uses cookies for certain areas, but is not set up to track, collect or distribute personal information not deliberately entered by  visitors. Our site logs certain kinds of non-identifying site usage data, such as the number of hits and visits to our site. This information us used for internal purposes by technical support staff to provide better services to the public and may also be provided to others, but again, the statistics contain no personal information and cannot be used to gather such information.

To enhance your shopping experience you may choose to set up an account by submitting a username and password of your choice. This election will provide you with future access to information such as order history and will speed up the check out process by eliminating entry of redundant data. If you do set up an account, safeguard this information by not sharing your username and password.
